Tanya Bell attended the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida and received a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology with a minor in Political Science. While at the University of South Florida, She was on the Dean's List and National Dean's List and graduated with honors. She then went on to the University of Florida, Levin College of Law, where she received her Juris Doctorate.
While in law school, Tanya served as Vice Chancellor of the Honor Court, Defense Staff of the Honor Court as well as the Executive Research Editor of the Entertainment Law Review.
Tanya began her career at The Law Office of Robert W. Bauer, P.A. where she was responsible for expanding the firm's practice areas to include family law. Deciding that she wanted to move her home closer to the water, she then accepted a position at the United Auto Workers Legal Services Plans where she would work for over six years.
During her time in this position, she practiced primarily in the areas of estate planning, probate, guardianship, and consumer law.
